Job Summary:



The Software Engineering Co-op is engaged in the development and validation of software solutions supporting battery pack systems. This individual interfaces with ABS software & systems engineering, test & validation teams.



Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and execute test cases on HIL (Hardware in the Loop).


• Link and verify test cases to requirements for 100% traceability.


• Support the Software team with configuration management.


• Participate in requirement, design, and code reviews.


• Design, review, implement and test application components.


• Report the progress of tasks on a regular basis.


• Adhere to federal and state regulations.


• Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.


• Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.


• Predictable and reliable attendance.

Position Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in pursuit of Computer Science or equivalent engineering undergraduate degree.

• Self-motivated problem solver, pays attention to the details, challenges the status quo, and strives for continuous improvement.


• Contributes to team growth by collaborating with cross-function teams and completing projects in a timely manner.

• Adept in data processing and statistical analysis.

• Effective communicator, capable of concisely presenting highly technical test data to internal and external customers, as well as effectively communicating with suppliers.


• Abides by safety standards and protocols.


• Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week up to a maximum of 25 hours per week.


• A minimum of 3.0 GPA is required to be in the Co-op Program.


• Must be actively enrolled in school.


• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Including excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
