The School of Marketing and Innovation at the Muma College of Business, University of South Florida invites applications for an Instructional Faculty position in Supply Chain Management. Candidates must have a minimum of a master's degree in supply chain management or a related field from an accredited university, with a Ph.D. or DBA preferred, or expect to complete such a degree before July 2025. Significant business experience in supply chain management is highly preferred.

Applications are welcome from all areas of Supply Chain Management, although expertise in procurement, logistics, or transportation is a plus. Ideal candidates will have the capacity to be an excellent teacher at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Although Tampa-based, the candidate selected for this position may be assigned to teach courses on of any of the three USF campuses (Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee). An interest in and ability to develop and nurture relationships with industry partners and to work with co-curricular student groups and initiatives are also important for this position. This is a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track instructional faculty position.

DUTIES:

Non-Tenure track, Instructional Faculty position in Supply Chain Management with a USF Tampa home campus in the Muma College of Business.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

1. A master's degree with specialization in supply chain management or in other related disciplines from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited institution before the start of employment.
2. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction.

1. Evidence of expertise in supply chain management and ability to teach related subjects to undergraduate and graduate students
2. Overall quality of the candidate as indicated by letters of reference and personal contacts
3. Reputation of the institution granting the candidate's degree
4. Reputation of the institution(s) where the candidate might have been employed previously

Ideal Candidate will Demonstrate:

1. Evidence of ability to make substantive service contributions to the program, center, school, college, university and the profession.
2. Evidence of superior teaching ability.
3. Fundraising experience.
4. Expectation that the candidate will be collegial.
