Job Description:

Purpose/goals 


Manage Predictive Pricing software and analyze pricing for CR Laurence and any other brands utilized in the software to maximize pricing and profitability by region. Analyze and set minimum and maximum pricing at the branch level for each customer.  Establish and maintain minimum margins by profile and price zone at all profiles' SPD (special price deviation) levels.  Review and approve SPDs that are funneled to the predictive pricing desk.  Efficient and accurate management of customer incentive programs.   


RESPONSIBILITIES




  1. Establish a comprehensive rules-based pricing management system for the CRL customer base. Administer the monthly ERP programs to populate data in the Predictive Pricing software. Identify any data issues and resolve them.   Use software AI to establish floor and stretch pricing by region and customer size. 




  2. Use Predictive Pricing software to establish intelligent guardrails and pricing at the point of negotiation. Manage the minimum and maximum price per profile and color code at the branch level to maximize price and profitability.



  3. Review ERP product landed cost in the database to adjust and refine the minimum margins by profile and price zones used in the pricing software and deviation platform.



  4. Review and adjust the parameters for green, yellow, and red indicators in the SPD database.



  5. Coordinate customer incentive programs and ensure the rebate table used in the deviation database is accurate.




  6. Work with Accounting and Sales to ensure all customer incentives are accrued and paid accurately.



  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

 


REQUIREMENTS 


Education


              Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or technical field preferred.


Experience


Minimum three years of business experience in sales/customer service, pricing, or analytical analysis.  SAP software experience preferred.


 Skills/Abilities


Analytical with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Detail-oriented with proven organizational, time management, and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment. Ability to build relationships in a team atmosphere. Actively promotes new ways of looking at problems, processes, or solutions. Strong understanding of financial and economic concepts such as gross margin and price discounting. Highly proficient in Excel, Access, and other computational software.
