Medical Assistant-Certified **Urgent Care Battle Ground** at Vancouver Clinic in Battle Ground, Washington

Job Description:

Join the Urgent Care team at our Battle Ground location as a Washington State credentialed Medical Assistant-Certified!

Hiring range is between $21.18-$26.54/hour and placement in the range is dependent on evaluation of experience.

Available Differentials: Evening ($3.00/hour), Saturday and Sunday ($2.50/hour)

M ust have active Washington State Department of Health, Medical Assistant-Certified credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

In this role you will:

• Room patients and take manual vitals and operate an automated BP machine


• Collect data and report in the EMR, work the MA in-basket managing prescription requests


• Perform clinical skills such as ear lavage, EKG, sterile set-up, injections, immunizations, point-of care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy


• Receive and make phone calls to other departments, patients and peers. And use critical thinking skills to find resources and follow protocols and policies


• Work independently and as a team member


• Ability to wear a mask all day and an N95 in cases where protocol directs .


• Have strong time management and delegation skills to prioritize workflow

Available Schedules:
(will train for first few weeks on a regular M-F 8am to 5pm schedule, then transition to regular schedule after successful completion of training.)

• Wednesday (6.5 hours), Thursday (12 hours), Friday (12 hours) and every other Sat/Sun (9.5 hours). Shifts rotate and are: Wednesday 6:30am to 1:30pm or 1:30pm to 8:30pm; Thursday/Friday 6:30am to 7:30pm or 7:30am to 8:30pm. Sat/Sun hours are 6:30am to 5pm or 7am to 5:30pm.

Medical Assistant-Certified Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.


• Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.) required
  


• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required.


• Current healthcare provider BLS required.

Pay Range:
$20.76 - $29.06
