SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Maintenance Electro-Mechanical Tech II will perform hands-on repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical electrical, mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the CMMS, minimizing production downtime, improving equipment reliability, and providing excellent customer service to internal customers.
Schedule: 2nd Shift- Tuesday-Saturday

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, vacuum, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
* Maintain equipment records in the CMMS. Ensure all data is properly recorded in the CMMS.
* Establish and maintain spare parts inventory. Order and stock spare parts.
* Maintain integrity of equipment manuals and documentation.
* Adhere to and promote safe work practices. Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
* Promote and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Devise methods to improve processes, procedures, and installations with an eye toward efficiency, reliability, and longevity.
* Communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
* Perform other related duties and supervisory functions as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, sit, stand, bend, walk, lift, climb, ascend and descend stairs, and crawl without limitation. Finger, wrist, elbow & and arm coordination/movement that is consistent with customary tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment including but not limited to power and hand tools, computers, and microscopes is required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Providien, a Carlisle Company, houses different machinery, equipment, processes, and chemicals that produce potential hazards in the work environment such as electrical, ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, low to moderate noise hazards, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.

SALARY INFORMATION
In compliance with CA state law, the hourly range for this position is $35-38 per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
* Four years' experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.
EDUCATION
* GED required, (minimum)
* Prefer Journeyman level Electrician, HVAC technician, Machinist, or Tool and die Maker with strong electro-mechanical control systems experience.
* Other Electro-Mechanical apprenticeships or education considered.
SKILLS
* Verifiable knowledge of electrical controls, hydraulic, pneumatic vacuum, and mechanical systems.
* Understanding of troubleshooting procedures utilizing PLC I.O.
* Inventory improvement & and organization experience desired.
* CMMS, Word, Excel, and Outlook experience needed.
* Recognizes and replaces worn parts to prevent future failures that would cause machine downtime.
* Troubleshooting skills applicable to industrial manufacturing equipment.
* Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and mechanical blueprints.
* Competency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical disassembly, repair and reassembly.
* Strong attention to detail required.
* TPM and Lean experience a plus.
* Communication skills: the ability to receive messages by telephone, in person, electronically, and in writing; ask questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to read, interpret and comprehend complex written and verbal; communicate across organizational levels; ability to communicate with quality, integrity, and respect in a way that inspires others and encourages innovation and possibilities; proficient English reading level to understand technical terminology used within the organization;
* Math skills: the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
* Computer skills: exposure to a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows-like interface using the Microsoft Office suite; ability to use Enterprise-wide information systems such as drawing-viewing programs
