How You Will Help:

• Work with Operations Manager to determine priorities and assign work to department according to urgencies and schedules and maintain scheduled flow of work. Run daily team production meetings.

• Manage +12 employees and develop a detailed schedule to achieve KPI goals.

• Manage Production KPI board(s) and HR by HR counts for continued improvement.

• Work with Sales, Engineering, QA, and Purchasing to provide input on prospective work.

• Instruct and train employees regarding work requirements, quality, and quantity of work safe working practices.

• Follow up on progress of assemblies through KPI board(s) and spot check to ensure performance and quality standards are maintained and resolve assembly and/or operator problems.

• Manage inventory to achieve OTIF(on time in full) Goals.

• Assure department time clock entries are accurate each day and approve each week.

• Maintain department area, machines, materials, tools, and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

• Perform all job functions in accordance with established operating procedures.

• Ensure proper PPE and safe work practices are consistently followed.

• Identify and assist in remediation of all safety hazards in the workplace.

• Perform other duties as directed by Operations Manager.

What You Will Have:

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing procedures to develop machining and manufacturing strategies.

• Must be able to use measuring equipment such as measuring tapes and read gauges.

• Must be able to be certified to operate a forklift and use hoists to pick up heavy parts.

• Strong analytical and communication skills are a must.

• Experience with Production/Inventory Control Procedures.

• Must demonstrate good judgment to be able to plan and accomplish goals.

• Ability to plan and direct the work of hourly personnel and to train and develop an effective workforce.

• 10+ years of Management or supervisor experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment, specifically with experience in the manufacturing of highly regulated components in a mature QA program.

• Experience with Ball Valve assembly is a plus.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
