Position type: Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote

As a HealthEdge Implementation Testers, you will:


We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest quality of our products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, utilizing state-of-the-art in-house automation frameworks in Java. Your contributions will drive robust test automation, seamless releases, and an elevated user experience.

Automation Development:

Build and extend existing automation tools and frameworks to enhance test efficiency and coverage

Testing Expertise:

Perform white-box and black-box testing to identify and resolve issues proactively.

Test Plans:

Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on complex data-driven requirements and user stories.

Quality Improvement:

Identify gaps in testing processes, suggest enhancements, and implement improvements to boost product quality.

CI/CD Integration:
Contribute to DevOps efforts and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Collaboration:

Work with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and ensure timely, seamless releases.

Demos:

Participate in product demos to showcase quality and functionality.
Debugging and testing complex, data-driven applications.
Investigating code for root cause analysis and proposing solutions.
Driving innovation in test automation and quality assurance.
Candidate Must Have:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a professional software development environment.

Test Automation:

Proficient in UI test automation tools (e.g., Cypress) and API testing (e.g., soapUI, RestAssured).

Performance Testing:

Experience with tools like JMeter or K6.

Frameworks:

Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, or similar.

Programming Skills:

Proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, C#, C++) and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby).

Database Skills:

Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).

SDLC Knowledge:

Familiarity with Agile practices (e.g., Scrum, Lean, XP).
DevOps: Experience with tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Version Control: Strong knowledge of distributed version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A collaborative team player.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments.
Experience with WebLogic application servers.
Knowledge of the healthcare domain.
Understanding of enterprise architecture and SOA best practices.

Education Background:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: 66,000 $ - 77,500 $ Per Year
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
