This role is pivotal in supporting AVI's learning culture by integrating technical expertise in audio-visual solutions with learning and development initiatives. The Audio-Visual Learning Elevation Specialist ensures that employees have access to dynamic and accessible learning tools by deploying and maintaining AV technologies for training programs, onboarding sessions, and professional development activities. This individual collaborates with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to enhance the quality and delivery of learning programs while maintaining a high level of technical execution.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the Learning Elevation team to design and deliver AV-enabled training materials, such as videos, webinars, and interactive presentations.
Support live and virtual training events with the Learning Elevation team.
Interpret and implement technical requirements for learning programs
Assist in creating and curating a robust library of learning resources, ensuring accessibility and alignment with company goals.
Work cross-functionally with teams to plan and execute AV-enabled learning projects, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to instructors, facilitators, and employees, ensuring effective use of AV systems during training sessions.
Help to build hands-on learning experiences for AV technicians to accelerate their job proficiency
What You Bring for Success:
Experience building and/or delivering training solutions, preferably in support of technical roles (AV industry preferred)
2-4 years of experience in the installation or maintenance of audio, video, and presentation systems is preferred
Technical proficiency in areas such as installation, service, construction (Experience with AV equipment preferred.)
Previous experience working with learning management systems and learning development software is preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in creating or supporting virtual and hybrid training environments, leveraging tools such as Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing platforms.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including system flow diagrams and building construction blueprints.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
CTS certification is a plus. Any other industry related training or certifications are also a plus (Ex: Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.)
