We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Principal Product Manager supporting Transportation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing innovative transportation solutions that enhance efficiency, improve customer experience, and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and logistics to build and optimize transportation products that support our organization's goals.


This individual contributor position will report to the Director, Product Management. This role is an in-person position and can be based in Sunnyvale, California or Bentonville, Arkansas; however, we are not considering remote candidates at this time.


What you'll do...



  • Lead the product lifecycle for transportation-related products, from concept to delivery

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and create detailed roadmaps that align with business objectives

  • Identify opportunities for product improvement and work with engineering teams to design, test, and launch new features

  • Drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and identifying new technologies to improve transportation efficiency and sustainability

  • Analyze data and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize product performance

  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams, partners, and customers to ensure product success

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to provide strategic recommendations

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and other team members




You'll sweep us off our feet if you have...



  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on transportation, logistics, or related fields

  • Proven experience in managing transportation or supply chain products, with a strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools

  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into innovative transportation solutions

  • A passion for sustainability and improving operational efficiency.

Sunnyvale, California US-04396:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00




























Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
