Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $21.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Phlebotomist in Seattle, Washington!
Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Seattle, Washington 98107
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
Job Type: Contract
Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Obtain blood specimens by skin puncture and venipuncture.
- Follow all laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Perform point of care testing.
- Accurately enter patient information and tests into the computer and accurately label specimens after the patient is drawn but before the patient leaves.
- Deliver specimens to the analytical area.
- Work as a team member within the laboratory department and with all other Polyclinic departments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalency and completion of a formal phlebotomy course.
- Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential in Washington State.
- At least one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
