Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: The Quality Manager oversees quality assurance and control, ensuring products meet regulatory and company standards, reporting directly to the Director of Quality
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality assurance programs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (USDA, BRC, HACCP).
- Conduct audits and inspections.
- Lead and train the quality assurance team.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet quality standards.
- Maintain quality assurance records.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred
- 5+ years in quality assurance/control in the food industry, preferably Beef or Pork processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
