Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst


Location: Columbus OH, Hybrid (Minimum 3 days per week at the assigned work location)


Job Summary: The Senior Business Systems Analyst collaborates with business partners across multiple units to align technology solutions with strategic business goals. This role provides advanced technical and consultative support, maintains comprehensive knowledge of applications, and stays updated on technical advancements, methodologies, and trends. The analyst identifies and implements technical or procedural improvements to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and improve user experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with business partners using ServiceNow to understand their needs, advocate for them, uphold platform standards and governance, and facilitate effective communication between business and technical users.


• Process Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of complex business processes and the functional behaviors of assigned applications, including the design and integration of technical solutions with consideration of upstream and downstream impacts.


• Requirements Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements, model and document business processes, and data requirements.


• Collaboration: Partner with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered as specified.


• Facilitation: Lead scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicate progress and follow-up actions to business partners.


• Resource Alignment: Align IT resources and processes to meet the needs of the client organization and design enterprise solutions.


• Roadmap Development: Build and execute roadmaps with business partners, ensuring timely delivery within sprint timelines.


• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.


• 4+ years of related experience.


• Hybrid workplace position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week at the assigned work location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the ServiceNow platform.


• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.


• Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.


• Experience in a Business Analyst role, including creating scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio or equivalent tools.


• Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements and asking relevant questions to delve into details.


• Proven track record of tracking and driving deliverables to completion.


• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.


• Demonstrated technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies.
