Position Description:

In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and evolving a wide range of HR activities, including talent management for the entire employee lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations. We are also on a culture transformation journey and need a forward-looking HR leader who can coach leaders at all levels, help drive change management and position our employees and managers for future challenges and success. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resource Management, you will play a key role in aligning our HR strategies with the bank's broader mission and values, focusing on leveraging data analytics, innovation, and operational excellence to meet our evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Guide HR's role in shaping organizational culture by fostering innovation, adaptability, and alignment with future trends.
Collaborate with leadership to create and execute HR strategies that align with the bank's mission and strategic initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision-Making:
Leverage data and artificial intelligence to generate insights, forecast trends, and enhance decision-making.
Implement HR analytics tools to monitor key metrics, such as employee engagement, retention, and performance, and help us evolve our data insights to better drive business results.
Operational Excellence:
Design and administer HR policies, systems, and processes that promote efficiency and compliance.
Oversee records management and enterprise content management processes, ensuring accuracy and operational excellence.
Talent Management:
Manage initiatives related to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
Develop and implement leadership development programs to cultivate managerial and executive excellence as well as coaching leaders.
Culture Transformation:
Play a key role in fostering cultural innovation, integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives into all HR practices.
Facilitate employee engagement and change management programs, aligning them with the organization's strategic priorities.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and international employment laws, including USCIS regulations and benefits programs.
Oversee I-9 and visa processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
Coaching and Consulting:
Provide guidance to managers and executives on best practices in talent development, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, influencing business decisions through HR expertise.
Innovation and Technology:
Facilitate the adoption of HR technology solutions, including AI-driven tools, to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead initiatives to modernize HR systems and integrate technology and automation into day-to-day operations.
What You Bring to the Team:
Our ideal candidate lives within a commutable distance from our scenic Northwest Austin office off Loop 360 at the Pennybacker Bridge and be willing to be onsite daily.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
12+ years of progressive HR experience, with expertise in HR administration, employee relations, and business partnership.
Demonstrated success in facilitating culture change and innovation within an organization.
Strong knowledge of data analytics, artificial intelligence applications, and HRIS systems.
Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
Proven ability to coach and develop leaders at all levels.
Experience designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
A passion for operational excellence and a forward-looking approach to HR strategy.
Experience being a key leader in a highly collaborative HR team while also working within a matrixed HR support system.
