Overview

The Global Marketing organization is charged with bringing together Publicis Groupe's marketing and digital business transformation offerings across creativity, media, data and technology, to drive business growth. The Business Development team sits inside this Marketing organization, responsible for New Business across the Groupe globally.

The below role partners with key stakeholders to drive success in new business conversion. The role requires an outstanding track record in project management and managing multiple stakeholders. You will need proven collaborative skills with the ability to connect with multiple teams across brands, geographies and practices. You will thrive in a fast paced and agile environment.

Responsibilities

PRODUCE WINNING WORK
  • Contribute to the development of pitch content to ensure a compelling, bold and memorable story - develop case studies, customize content to client, simplify slides, and ensure deliverables are "submission ready" to cross the finish line
  • Support pitch coordination - timelines, checkpoints, deliverables, design and pitch theatre/production needs
  • Add intelligence value at each stage of the pitch process from kick-off to ongoing updates; able to effectively research and communicate client background and key client stakesholders and track relationships; utilize 3rd party tools such as COMvergence and LinkedIn
  • Support client contact strategy workstreams by developing content for newsletters, Instagram accounts, microsites, etc
  • Responsible for accurate and timely entry of pitch details in Salesforce to support Groupe reporting

CLOSE COLLABORATION
  • Ensure accountability across pitch stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Provide support to pitch teams by coordinating worksessions, recapping feedback and timing rehearsals
  • Onsite support during pitch rehearsals & client meetings, working closely with Operations, to ensure flawless logistics
  • Support overall BD team in staying organized. Manage communication, timing and deliverables with stakeholders across BD Operations and Design

Qualifications

The Person
  • 3 - 5 years of media, creative, integrated marketing, or similar experience; background in business development in other verticals with cross-over skills
  • Developing leader who is curious and proactively thinks around corners
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Passion for organizing process and people, while maintaining flexible attitude
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced and changing environment, under pressure to deadline
  • Believes no ask is too big and no detail too small
  • Willing to roll up their sleeves across content development, coordination and in-office experience to execute on a set strategic vision

Critical Skills
  • Winning editing and communication skills, must be skillful in writing in prose and visual storytelling in PowerPoint
  • Scrappy ability to gather intelligence and effectively communicate intel updates throughout the pitch process
  • Flawless project management and organizational skills
  • Collaborative mindset to connect with teams across agencies, geographies and practices
  • Ability to work in a "flat" team structure - ask for help when needed and offer help when bandwidth is available
  • Ability to handle big swings in workload

Success Criteria
  • Contribution to revenue conversion and external new business rankings performance
  • Outstanding feedback from key pitch stakeholders
  • Accurate & fast-paced delivery of tasks

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $106,260 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
