The TAAG (technology and activation group) Associate Director will be responsible for supporting the management of key tagging, trafficking, data, measurement, and partner relationships in order to drive campaign efficiency and develop leading technical expertise. This is a global role that involves working closely with the Global Data Governance and TAAG Lead in assessing changes needed in existing business processes to create improved data quality and ensure effective implementation.
Overview
Additionally, you will have oversight of the Cookbook and Playbook and roll out of these across markets. You will manage the onboarding of new markets, channels, partners, and technology - GMP, Verification, etc. You will also be responsible for ensuring that planning and activation teams receive the support and communication needed to implement and get campaigns activated, measured, and tracked.
You will be the point of escalation for local market teams and PGD (off shore Ad Ops) teams. You will consult activation teams on executing strategic plans that align with the overall goals and objectives. You will stay up-to-date and be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that align with the overall goals and objectives of the client teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with Digital Directors and Channel Leads to understand technology requirements to then coordinate with the TAAG lead to deliver the best product and best thinking across display and video
Oversee Cookbook and Playbook and roll out of these with across markets in collaboration with your counterpart in Germany
Manage the onboarding of new markets, channels, partners, and technology - GMP, Verification, etc.
Ensure that planning and activation teams receive the support and communication needed to implement and get campaigns activated, measured, and tracked
Act as a point of escalation for markets and PGD team
Consult activation teams on executing strategic plans that align with the overall goals and objectives of client teams
Provide guidance to the Media Operations team for planning and executing media campaigns across multiple markets, channels, and platforms
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of existing TAAG policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvements as needed
Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support the successful implementation of tagging for media campaigns
Develop and maintain relationships with key media partners and vendors and stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies in media and marketing
Tagging experience is a very big plus (would be great to have experience within CM360 Floodlight and Tag Management Systems such as GTM, Tealium, Adobe Launch, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. data management, computer science, business, marketing, etc.)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in media operations or a related field
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports
Knowledge of display and video advertising technologies, including GMP and Verification
Familiarity with media planning and buying processes, as well as digital marketing technologies and platforms
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify innovative solutions to business challenges
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Ability to travel as needed
Experience with MS Excel, project management tools such as Jira, and data visualization tools

Compensation Range: $95,950 $137,865 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
