RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a brand name architecture firm headquartered in New York, NY is seeking a Project Accountant. This company has multi decade track record of business success and promoting its employees. Their pipeline and outlook for 2025 is very strong, and they are hiring due to growth. They have a beautiful midtown office, excellent benefits and a hybrid schedule.

Duties will include:

• Project Accountant will create project in ERP


• Record and allocate project cost and revenue


• Create budget, track variances


• Financial reporting, presenting results to executive team


• As a Project Accountant, you will support corporate accounting around assigned projects including analysis and reconciliations and ensuring proper revenue recognition


• Project close outs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business


• At least 1 year of experience


• Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry experience


• Strong excel skills


• Experience with project based ERP systems like Deltek or Sage


• Strong attention to detail


• Strong communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
