Job Description:

Tax Accountant


We are assisting our client, a CPA firm, in their search for a Tax Accountant to join their team! Our client has multiple locations across the North & South shore area of Massachusetts.



Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.


• Analyze financial data to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with tax regulations.


• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax matters.


• Conduct tax planning to minimize liabilities and maximize deductions.


• Stay updated on changes to tax laws and advise clients or internal teams accordingly.


• Assist with tax audits and resolve any discrepancies with tax authorities.


• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax documents.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting preferred.


• Degree in Accounting or equivalent is preferred
