Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the accounting functions in Accounts Receivable. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Job Responsiblities


  • Contact customers for payment on past due accounts

  • Process credit applications

  • New customer set up and account maintenance

  • Process credit memos to customers

  • Respond to inquiries from customers, and research/resolve outstanding credit issues

  • Maintain credit invoice and supporting documentation files

  • Monitor credit holds in Account Receivable

  • Respond to inquiries from sites and sales team

  • Salesforce.com case maintenance

  • Maintain unapplied payment report

  • Process release of lien requests

  • Process credit references

  • Handle customer payments received in house and send to lockbox when necessary

  • Process tax-exempt certificates

  • Work with salespeople on their accounts/collections

  • Maintain major customer accounts; reconciling and resolving open balances

  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed


Job Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 2 years related experience

  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent telephone skills

  • Team player - ability to share information within the department and company

Compensation

  • $20 - $25/hr based on experience
