The role requires outlining new omni-channel strategies and optimizing existing operations that deepen relationships to drive growth for the merchant services customer portfolio. This individual will drive efforts supporting multiple groups including sales, product, and marketing teams specific to merchant services customers. This individual will strategize engagement opportunities and partner with product marketing and creative teams to deliver collateral and seamless customer experiences. In this role, you will:
Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk and Compliance partners to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs for the existing merchant portfolio
Develop engaging onboarding strategies executed across marketing channels and segments to drive early product adoption
Identify and execute engagement programs and strategies to grow the portfolio and minimize merchant pain points, leveraging data and insights
Provide recommendations on how and when to introduce new and modified product/feature offerings to existing merchant segments
Deliver best-in-class creative through partnership with internal and external agencies, aligned with positioning across merchant segments and industry verticals.
Maintain an inventory and establish rigor around all existing merchant communications, (including those deployed by external partners) to ensure awareness, approval, and consistent calls to action across the merchant lifecycle
Consistently monitor engagement and attrition metrics to identify opportunities to deliver value that grows and retains the existing merchant portfolio
Act as an expert in merchant services industry trends, evaluating the competitive landscape and understanding in-market positioning, offers and most effective marketing channels
Have direct influence and responsibility for activation, revenue, and attrition metrics
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in financial services and understanding of the Merchant Services business
Marketing or creative agency experience leading strategic marketing campaigns, creative brief writing and guiding creative development
Experience writing business requirements, leading campaign execution, and analyzing results
Highly detailed and action-oriented, with a sense of urgency and focus on flawless execution
Passionate about driving results and fostering an agile test & learn mindset
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously
Demonstrated experience fostering strong partnerships, promoting teamwork, and communicating effectively to various levels of staff and management
Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
