Our client is seeking a seasoned Media Director to join their dynamic team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a media professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating innovative media plans for diverse clients.
As a Media Director, you will be responsible for leading communications planning, mapping consumer journeys, leveraging competitive insights, and refining media plans based on performance. You will also oversee the day-to-day management of tactical media plans and their proper implementation, aligning with the brand's overall media strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strong client relationships as the main point-of-contact across the portfolio
- Deliver high-quality media plans for clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of how offline and online channels can achieve objectives and goals
- Manage and mentor a team in day-to-day media management
- Lead strategic planning and media mix exercises, including deck creation, budget and channel allocation, target audience development, and competitive insights
- Manage media planning and buying for both offline and online media through all steps of the process
- Partner with the Director of Analytics to ensure a robust testing and reporting structure is in place to measure against KPIs
- Foster a strong, cohesive working environment and encourage a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and support
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of traditional and digital media planning and buying experience
- Strong team communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Proficiency in planning tools (Nielsen, MRI/Simmons, Kantar, ComScore), ad management platforms (Google Campaign Manager, DSPs, etc.), and reporting platforms (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to think in an integrated fashion across online and offline media tactics to ensure strong ROAS outcomes
