$67,028 - $144,148 per year

JOB SUMMARY:

Develops market based Standard Jobs pricing for Empire Exchange, Empire Rebuilt components, EMSolutions and Repair Options. Develops and maintains Standard Jobs trending analysis to support business solutions. Establishes and maintains measurements of success for assigned products/industries. Maintains Product Support databases. Validates data accuracy and integrity and researches problems. Works closely with other work centers to build high levels of cross departmental teamwork and support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Develop market-based pricing for Empire Exchange, Empire Rebuilt components, EMSolutions and Repair Options. Make pricing adjustment recommendations as necessary to maintain margins and market share.
  • Provide data and analysis to support business solution options.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Jobs trending analysis. Exclusive for Service Solutions Position.
  • Maintain Product Support databases and web applications. Validate data accuracy and integrity. Identify and research problematic areas.
  • Cooperate with personnel in other work centers to build high levels of cross-departmental teamwork and support.
  • Develop and provide support for Standard Jobs training for all of Empire's service operational areas to maintain the goals set by the corporate direction.
  • Provide Standard Job Pricing for Caterpillar updates relating to Service Letters. This today is being completed by the Product Support Administrative position, but direction as to which ones to create and prioritize can come from the Service Solutions Pricing Team.
  • Utilize technical knowledge, data and skills to determine proper repair and quoting methods. Obtain technical assistance in difficult and unusual conditions.
  • Interface with personnel for product and service feedback and perform research that impacts Repair Option Development and Pricing.
  • Use CAT SIS, builder calculator and other related software to build and maintain pricing options.
  • Assist with Client Support Agreements, related to Standard Jobs Pricing, and our EMSolutions Offerings.
  • Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Standard Jobs (SJ) technical assistance to all Service personnel, and Product Support and Sales Team.
  • Monitor and communicate competitive information to assure Empire always has the advantage.
  • Utilize available technology (Internet/E-Mail) to stay current on latest offerings, developments, and campaigns. Document and communicate any issues that impact client satisfaction to the appropriate area. Seek assistance for additional help in resolving an issue.
  • Submit necessary reports, records, and data.
  • Work within and promote corporate values.


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Skills and or knowledge required in repairing, maintaining and /or reconditioning CAT and Allied machines.
  • Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to assist clients and employees in a professional manner.
  • Must have sufficient mechanical working knowledge to understand client equipment opportunities and to express these opportunities to the appropriate areas within Empire.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products. Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Must be able to perform basic routine mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies and use of all required safety equipment.
  • Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years previous technical Caterpillar machine experience. Experience in a Service or Parts department at Empire or another Caterpillar dealer preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
