JobSummary:

Assisting in the management of single large projects orprograms of projects that typically have a segmentation rating of 3 or 4(greater than $30 million), or any project supportive of an EngineeringProcurement and Construction (EPC) Contracting Strategy. Manages the development and delivery of acapital project or program to which he or she is assigned and focuses on theachievement of project cost and schedule objectives while achieving excellencein the areas of project safety and quality. Provides direct management andsupport to Project Team members throughout the project lifecycle. Works closelywith business unit contractor representatives to achieve Capital Projectorganization objectives. Accountable forexecution of the Project Delivery Standard on all assigned projects with amatrixed team of subject matter experts ("SME") including, but not limited to,construction, project controls, engineering, environmental, right of way,supply chain, distribution, finance, Governance and Oversight, legal,maintenance, operations, consultants, and executive leaders to ensure projectsare executed with cost and schedule certainty. Report and present largecapital project status on a regular basis to business unit and corporate levelexecutives.

JobDuties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes safe behavior and adherence to thesafety rules on the project. Leads the project team to establish leadingindicators and proactive requirements to ensure safety is considered in allaspects of design and implementation for contractors, project team members, andthe end user. Ensures contract scope of work includes safetydeliverables/requirements as needed.

• Defines the project organization structurerequired for the project and identifies the technical skills required toachieve project goals. Works with appropriate company management to assignappropriately skilled individuals to the Project Team. Assists in the preparation and execution ofcontracts and approves requisitions, change orders, etc. and processes invoicesas required. Fulfills role of 'ContractManager' or as Owner's representative as otherwise defined in the projectcontracts and administer contracts. Issues formal correspondence to Contractors.

• Leads the project team to develop and executethe Project in accordance with the applicable corporate standards, guidelines,policies, and processes. Ensures that team members fulfill the responsibilitiesas required of their roles. Navigates the project through the Stage GateProcess (SGP) and coordinate activities to meet the requirements of the SGP andassociated deliverables (estimates, schedules, gates, deliverables, etc.).

• Directs the project team and contributes to thedevelopment of project deliverables (Project Execution Plan (PEP), contractingstrategy, cost estimates, schedules, risk register, reports, etc.). Coordinatesthe activities of project stakeholders and working groups engaged in projectwork.

• Contract manager for large EPC contracts andmultiple supporting subcontracts. Monitors contractor(s) performance inproject safety, scope, schedule, cost, quality of work, contract change requestand compliance with contractual requirements.

• Develops and maintains the PEP and executes theproject in adherence to this plan. Establishes and maintains project documentation. Coordinates the effortsof all project participants, including consultants and contractors. Ensuresprevious projects' Lessons Learned and applicable industry experience isincorporated into the PEP. Manages the project to achieve the project budgetand baseline schedule. Ensures project controls are implemented for effectivelymanaging project scope, schedule, quality, cost, cash flow, risk, contracts,change management and communications in accordance with the applicablecorporate standards.

• Provides clear, timely and accurate projectstatus reports for management. Prepares reports and presentations tomanagement. Prepares and issues status reports as needed. Identifies, makestimely decisions, and takes prompt action on project issues that could impactproject performance. Promptly communicates issues to the next level ofleadership that are outside the authority or capability to resolve.

• Coordinates with all corporate functionaldepartments as required to achieve the requirements of the applicable corporatestandards and to achieve project budget and timeline including Finance, Legal,Operations, and Supply Chain. Turns over completed project equipment/systems toOperations with all documentation, training, and instructions.

• Serves as a departmental SME and mentors otherProject Managers, Sr. Project Managers and team members in the project team andCapital Projects organization.

Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

MinimumBasic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ConstructionManagement, or related field or equivalent work experience required;

• Ten or more years' experience in utility powergeneration required;

• History of safe performance, active safetyinvolvement and participation and strong desire for a safer workplace required;

• Experience with reviewing, executing, andmanaging large EPC contracts required;

• Knowledge of processes and key performanceindicators for capital projects process planning and asset management required;

• Strong contract negotiation, conflictresolution, problem solving, team building, interpersonal and groupcommunication skills required;

• Demonstrated history ofPlanning/Organization/Time Management skills required;

• Project risk identification, mitigation, andmanagement skills required;

• Ability to influence and motivate others;

• Ability to make "quick" decisions calmly whileevaluating multiple options;

• Ability to apply understanding of how the teamrelates to other closely related teams to improve efficiency of own businessunit;

• Proficiency with report writing andpresentations;

• Strong computer skills and proficient inMicrosoft Office software (Word, Excel & Outlook, Power Point);

• Availability and willingness to work additional hours, to work in alternatelocations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms,outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company.

PreferredQualifications

• Advanced degree inrelated field;

• Ten (10) or more years' experience in largecapital project management;

• Field Experience in the electric utility orrelated industry;

• PMP certification.

WorkingConditions:

• Work is primarily on-site at project location and may require travelto multiple site locations (25-50% travel;

• Field duties require outdoor work in a plantor field atmosphere;

• Interaction with other team members, as wellas supervisors and client personnel;

• Working in plant and/or shop areas aroundproduction machinery with extreme noise levels;

• Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection;

• May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes.
