Flexion Inc. a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer-Identity and Access Management Specialist to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI. This is a hybrid position, the onsite portion of this work will be done in Madison, WI.

The Cybersecurity Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM), focusing on technologies such as Entra ID, Okta, Siteminder, OIDC, SAML, API Management, and Azure App Proxy. This role requires a deep understanding of IAM principles and technologies, coupled with strong project management skills to lead and implement security projects effectively.


Skills required:

• At least five years of Engineering/Security experience
• At least three years of experience in IAM, with specific expertise in several of the following: Entra ID, Okta, Siteminder, OIDC, SAML, API Management, and Azure App Proxy.
• Strong understanding of network and security protocols, authentication methods, and security attack vectors.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in Cybersecurity and IAM (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve complex problems.
