The Wine Edutainer I is responsible for stellar hospitality and sales for the tasting room. This role is an exemplary model of Frichettes extraordinary and personable customer engagement. Frichette Winery is a family-owned winery in the heart of Washingtons famed Red Mountain AVA. We specialize in making balanced red wines. We pride ourselves in our commitment to edutain and provide a stellar, unforgettable wine experience for every guest. We do this by spending time with guests, sharing our story, hearing their stories and getting them even more excited about Washington wines. We offer an upbeat, cohesive environment, career development and 50% employee discount on wine. As a Wine Edutainer I, your primary role is to edutain, tell our story and sell wine. The Wine Edutainer I is responsible for guest engagement and is the face of Frichette Winery in the tasting room. The ideal candidate has super strong customer service/hospitality skills and a proven record of meeting sales goals. Hospitality & Customer ServiceGreet visitors within three seconds as they enter the wineryProvide education on the wines, wine region and share Frichette Story with every guestServe wine by flight, glass and bottle with perfect wine/bottle serviceHold engaging dialogue with guests and ask questions about their interest in wineMaintain a clean tasting room, kitchen, bar area, and patioPrepare and serve cheese platesOrganize and re-stock bar areaMulti-task wowing customers while serving wine and being efficientWork extraordinarily well with the team SalesMeet Average Order Value sales goalMeet wine club sign-up goalsSell wine at ticketed events at the winery to meet event sales goalsSkills and AbilitiesDemonstrated sales skills and experienceAbility to hold engaging conversations in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of wine and wine serviceAbility to provide customers with a stellar and unforgettable wine experienceMust be able to work Saturday and Sunday and occasional eveningsMust be able to lift 50 lbsMust be at least 21 years oldMust have MAST card and Food Handlers CardMust have a professional appearance and attitudeThis is a seasonal part-time position with approximately 15 hours per week starting at $18 per hour + pooled tips.
