Under general supervision, responsible for analyzing and organizing large data sets, to generate actionable insights. This role involves creating detailed reports, presenting findings to senior management, and making recommendations based on data analysis. You will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making by identifying trends and providing valuable data-driven insights.

NYC Salary Range - $85,932- $87,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.
What you'll do

Maintain detailed working knowledge of various Credit Union products and business processes.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights.
Prepare detailed reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Present data findings from various sources, including but not limited to, employee surveys, chatbot responses, and member interaction notes, with a strong focus on identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations to senior managers and key stakeholders.
Facilitate downstream processes by providing data-driven evidence to support the prioritization of initiatives aimed at addressing technology, process, and end-user experience gaps.
Collaborate with the Business Insights & Analytics team, to identify business needs and data requirements.
Design and maintain systems for collecting, processing, and analyzing data.
Create and document data models, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for data sources, processes, and analysis methodologies.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.
What we're seeking
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or Associate's degree with relevant work experience in data analysis or reporting
Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions and data manipulation
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R
Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner
Additional qualifications preferred but not required
Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience with optimizing prompts to train AI models
Project management or process improvement experience
