JOB SUMMARY:
The Director will be responsible for the daily operations of the North Country Thrives Critical Timing Intervention (CTI) Team and assist in the development of the Critical Time Transitional Program (CTTP). The Director will collaborate with other North Country provider agencies and hospitals to provide youth with complex needs mental health/behavioral treatment and support. This is an intensive case management model. This will include supporting their families/caregivers with interpersonal and rehabilitative skills, training, and continuity of their educational setting/program. While providing youth supports, North Country Thrives will provide youths family/caregivers with tools, education, and resources to maintain progress once discharged from both programs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in CTI and CTTP department, as needed
Directly supervises Managers, Case Managers and Vocational/Educational Rehabilitation Specialist. As the program develops additional staff will be included.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following.
1. Administratively oversees the general functions of North Country Thrives ensuring coordination and delivery of services for individuals served. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Participates in Interdisciplinary Team meetings when appropriate.
3. Collaborates and networks with local Hospitals and other provider organizations.
4. Coordinates and facilitates Programmatic Staff Meetings.
5. Prepares clinical and behavioral assessments as needed.
6. Provides in service training to staff and managers on relevant topics.
7. Ensures all Policies and Procedures for North Country Thrives are written and maintained. Provides administrative support in the absence of the Senior Director.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. EDUCATION: New York State Licensed Professional in the field of Mental Health and or Social Work.
2. EXPERIENCE: 5 years in the field of Mental Health with significant experience in leadership and program management.
