Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities

Plans, organizes and monitors the induction, storage, and distribution of all items received either from customer, production shops or sales department ensuring a smooth and consistent operation, so test equipment is located and distributed to the proper lab in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

· Serve as counter service representative and maintain high quality customer interaction (greeting, relationship building, servicing customer needs) for cleanroom/calibration lab customers who drop off and pick up equipment.

· Ensure that all documentation relative to inductions, delivery, shipping and pickups are accurately processed.

· Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer service and relations.

· Analyzes service failures/issues and implements performance improvement processes to improve future service delivery.

· Ensure X3 database is functioning properly, bar codes/prices/orange tags are affixed, and the storage area is organized with items on appropriate shelves.

· Work closely with other managers/supervisors to resolve issues in a timely manner.

· Responsible for cleanliness, punctuality and appearance.

· Coordinates with and provides assistance to the customer service representative.

· Responsible for the entry of work data, calibration certificates, and packing list.

· Must be capable of working in a team environment.

Education / training requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Work experience – up to 1 year of data entry desired

Additional requirements

· Must be able to multi-task

· Must be detail oriented

· Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Safety

Appearance

· Must wear closed in shoes or tennis shoes

· Must wear appropriate work attire or SCI branded shirt

· Wear appropriate PPE in production areas

Environment

When working in the cleanroom, it is an environment that has a low level of environmental pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles and chemical vapors. Appropriate steps to avoid contamination should be utilized at all time including:

• Shower in the morning on days you will enter the cleanroom.
• Do not wear Cosmetics, Hairspray, Perfumes or Colognes in the cleanroom.
• Wear appropriate attire under your cleanroom garb (skirts, high-heel shoes, shorts, in some cases short sleeve shirts, fuzzy clothing, excessive lint or static electricity producing are not appropriate attire.)

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 30lbs
• Ability to lift, carry and transport equipment weighing up to 30lbs
• Bending/squatting/kneeling/stooping/crouching/walking up to 8-10 hours per day
• Must be able to work with dirty equipment
