DIVISION OVERVIEW:


The Adult Criminal Justice and Treatment Services (ACJS) supports clients who may have struggles related to a

substance use disorder. We provide opportunities for clients to rebuild their lives so they can become healthy and

self-sufficient. ACJS' work includes screening and assessments for substance use disorders, placing clients into

treatment programs, monitoring and reporting on progress, and providing support including, but not limited

to, insurance enrollment, obtaining a state ID, and finding employment resources.


We are currently looking for full-time – Supervisor

Starting at $50,200 – contingent upon experience, education, etc.


POSITION SUMMARY:


The Supervisor will provide the overall leadership of assigned programs including the program management,

clinical supervision, personnel, and day-to-day operations of the assigned programs and services for the agency;

including: information systems, and office management. The Supervisor will ensure clients receive the highest

continuity of care based on evidence-based research, treatment modalities, addiction intervention, AODA

counseling, recovery support services and best practices by assisting in the development and implementation of,

policies, and strategic goals of the agency and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the needs of

our clients are met/maintained on an individual basis. This position supervises a team of Case Management and

Office Support staff.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Administrative (Approximately 55% of time spent in this area)

  • Direct, plans and coordinates the work of staff, including supervision, evaluation, training, and team building within assigned program
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the program management and office staff assigned to the designated program
  • Establish work schedules for assigned staff and provide direct coverage when necessary
  • Provide direct service to clients as necessary
  • Coordinate and implement the delivery of consistent and quality program services
  • Assis with the development and monitoring of program budget and contract deliverables
  • Maintain program information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase program effectiveness and ensure compliance
  • Prepare, interpret, and present reports to the Administrator, external funding sources, and community partners in accordance with established timeframes
  • Serves as direct liaison to the Administrator for program related needs and operational issues
  • Facilitation of integrated and multi-disciplinary staffing with IDOC, Parole and providers.
  • Provide guidance and support in resolving crisis situations with clients
  • Participate in agency wide work groups as assigned
  • Ensure reentry resources are available for required inner circle groups

Quality Assurance/Compliance: (Approximately 15% of time spent in this area)

  • Ensure direct reports adhere to program SOPs and operate in compliance with contractual agreements, agency policies and procedures
  • Manage and maintain reports for all required reporting sources and ensure program benchmarks are met
  • Maintain compliance with external regulations and internal policies; perform routine quality improvement activities including, but not limited to, assisting with file and program audits
  • Personnel/staff development: (Approximately 20% of time spent in this area)
  • Develop and manage a diverse, highly-qualified team and provide career coaching and facilitate skillsdevelopment, training, and learning opportunities for program staff in alignment with division performance goals and objectives
  • Participates in staff performance reviews through the completion of accurate and timely performance evaluations and supervisions
  • Hold and document staff meetings and individual staff supervisions on a regular basis
  • Supervise both supervisory and non-supervisory employees in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Manages overall staff productivity goals including time management, mileage, hybrid work schedules, and service hours
  • Utilize a progressive discipline system to help team members resolve performance problems
  • Work closely with Human Resources to recruit, hire, onboard and retain qualified program area staff
  • Review and approve staff timesheets and expense reports
  • Assist staff with the preparation of obtaining required certification

Community partner and resource development: (Approximately 5% of time spent in this area)

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies, funded and other external stakeholders, as well as state, local, and municipal government officials; represent the agency on state, city, and county taskforces and initiatives related to division programs
  • Attends meetings, workshops, conferences, seminars, and other information exchange activities, in order to gain first-hand knowledge of new evidence-based programming, policy implications, or resources or our targeted service population
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and community partners to ensure outcome and success of existing programs, expand referral sources and recruitment of referral sources for new program initiatives

Other duties: (Approximately 5% of time spent in this area)

  • Actively contributes to the discussion in agency committees
  • Facilitates and/or provides program coverage as needed
  • Attend all trainings and internal and external meetings as required
  • Ensure that confidential information relating to the organization, its staff, and clients is kept confidential

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in social work, psychology, criminal

justice, or related field required

? Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in social work, psychology, criminal

justice, or related field may be required based on contractual obligations

? Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the human service field

? Minimum of 2 - 3 years of management experience

? Individuals with criminal records and other lived experience are encouraged to apply and able to obtain

security clearance

? CADC certification within two years of employment with TASC may be required based on contractual

obligations

? Considerable knowledge of the current ASAM placement criteria, DSM-V as it relates to substance-related

disorders, and Code of Ethics for substance abuse professionals, or the ability to acquire the knowledge.

? Knowledge of trauma informed care models of service

? Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills

? Ability to effectively work as a part of a professional team

The agency currently offers hybrid work schedules that combines in-office and remote work.


Employees are required to report to the work site three days per week with the option to work up to two days remotely.
