Job Description Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) B will provide research support for a project that will test the effectiveness and implementation of two innovative approaches to suicide prevention for youth on the autism spectrum. The project will be a multi-site study recruiting from four health systems around the country in partnership with The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. The CRC B will coordinate study activities across sites and provide oversight to the assessment core at Penn. The CRC B will oversee the REDCap study database and lead the preparation and submission of IRB, Data Safety and Monitoring Board, and grant funder documents to fulfill reporting requirements. The CRC B will also coordinate and support the development of study materials, recruit and consent participants, conduct telephone-based clinical assessments, manage data, and provide data coding as needed. The CRC-B will serve as a supervisor for independent evaluators conducting clinical assessments and provide oversight for their duties in data collection and management. The CRC-B will also coordinate communication among the team through scheduling and leading weekly meeting with the dual PIs, Assessment Core, and monthly project update meetings.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2-3.years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master's degree preferred.
Previous experience working in healthcare settings, interacting with youth on the autism spectrum and/or youth at risk for suicide, are desired. Previous experience in a research environment is preferred. Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, NVivo, statistical databases (SPSS), and online data management software (REDCap) is also preferred. Outstanding organizational skills are essential. Exquisite attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning for longer-term projects; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly given the healthcare partner aspect of this work; and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are all essential for this position. Individual must be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.
