JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Infrastructure and Enterprise Application Engineering Team, a Senior Infrastructure Engineering Manager will lead up to 8 engineering managers or senior engineers, driving strategic initiatives and overseeing the delivery of complex infrastructure solutions. This leadership role requires strong communication, strategic planning, and the ability to align technical objectives with business goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Define the strategic direction for infrastructure initiatives, with a focus on scalability and automation.
Oversee the implementation of hybrid infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Partner with leadership to develop and manage the infrastructure department's budget, optimizing resource allocation.
Advocate for the adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance team productivity and infrastructure reliability.
Act as a key liaison between the infrastructure team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Serve as an escalation point for complex issues, providing guidance and expertise.
Drive adherence to ITIL processes and compliance standards.
Monitor and report on team performance and project outcomes to senior leadership.
Support the development of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Extensive experience with hybrid infrastructure design and management.
Advanced knowledge of automation tools and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering scalable and cost-effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder management.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices.
