Miller Pipeline is looking for candidates to install Underground Residential Distribution (URD) systems in the New Berlin, WI area. Successful candidates must have prior work experience with URD systems, and have knowledge of underground utilities.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure URD equipment is installed & operated in a safe & secure way.
  • Identify sources of power for a typical URD system.
  • Perform routine inspection & preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, refer defects or repairs to the supervisor, and clean equipment.
  • Identify how various components of a URD system can be isolated without interrupting service to customers.
  • Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, and work site or traffic laws.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.
  • Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL.
