JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
The M&A Operations C1 Integration Specialist performs key tasks of the operational integration in mergers and acquisitions specific to c1. This role involves working closely with the Global Project Manager and key stakeholders from each department to complete operational project tasks on time.
Key Responsibilitie
• Discovery documentation
• Identification of system configuration and operational process gaps
• Analysis of existing Business
• Gap Analysis, including risk management and legacy Agent strategy
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders from all departments
• Define all Operational tasks in granular detail for the Project Manager to include in the project plan
• Document Operational Business Requirements for IT (i.e. Carrier and/or Client Integrations etc)
• Perform initial c1 testing and ensure successful UAT signoff by local management
• Produce supplemental local training documentation if required (i.e. customs clearance, client integrations etc)
• Communication
- Provide Project Manager with realistic operational task timeline estimations for accurate project planning
- Communicate Operational task status periodically to Project Manager
- Communicate Ops specific topics / instructions to Operations audience in alignment with WW OXT
• Perform c1 Training
• Ensure local Ops staff is practicing and able to perform all c1 process functions in Test system
• Manage risk by publishing and communicating operational issues logs
• Provide go live hypercare support
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required with a masters and project management certification preferred
• 2+ years in project management, international and leadership experience preferred
• 5+ (minimum) years in Logistics, Freight Forwarding and CargoWise C1
• Expertise in Project Management and Mergers & Acquisitions
• Some experience with CarcoWise C1, communication skills and commercial sense, business knowledge of forwarding and contract logistics and JAS standard process expertise.
Key Attributes:
• Strong understanding of System integration aspects using WiseTech CargoWise c1 software. Excellent understanding of c1 Master Data, Operational and Finance procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English with other languages preferred.
• Commitment to international travel as needed.
