Job Description:




Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly premium invoice summary and detailed reports according to client specification and pre-negotiated billing deadlines by auditing and reconciling against monthly insurance carrier invoices, thereby preparing them for payment
  
  


• Interact with internal, client, and insurance carrier partners on an ongoing basis to resolve billing related issues
  
  


• Coordinate carrier/vendor payment processes using agreed upon methods
  
  


• Report invoice adjustments to Benefits and COBRA units for processing
  
  


• Work with technical resources to factor client rules and rate information into billing databases
  
  

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  
  


• 1-3 years of billing support, supporting multiple individuals, preferably in a professional services environment required, 3-5 years preferred
  
  


• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, most definitely Excel, Outlook & Word
  
  


• Work experience in Benefits Administration, Insurance or Human Resources
  
  


• Accounts Payable and /or bookkeeping experience
  
  


• Knowledge of health insurance programs or medical billing a plus
  
  


• Highly organized and possess strong analytical skills
