Senior Field System Delivery & Quality Specialist Objective
To drive successful organizational performance and improvements by analyzing the existing or ideal organization and current and future state business processes and workflow needs, by assessing and helping to create effective business models and their integration with technology, and by driving consistency across all deliverables. To provide critical thinking to make necessary decisions and recommendations. To understand user and customer needs and business goals and collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to deliver results which meet those needs. To represent Agency Support on corporate and department projects, including testing, procedures, and training. To present strategies for business impact workarounds and long-term solutions while championing the importance of excellent customer service organization-wide.
Senior Field System Delivery & Quality Specialist Responsibilities
Recognize and research ongoing problem trends or patterns. Work with teams to analyze and recommend enhancements or changes to documentation, software, or procedures when a need is recognized.
Input entries into the companywide defect tracking system. Test and analyze problems and document results with clear and concise written verbiage to help in research and problem resolution.
Act as an escalation point to expedite incident resolution within the team by receiving and prioritizing complex incidences. Assist Enterprise in prioritizing a list of desired enhancements and defects in relation to our policy issuing systems. Manage backlog production support defects and collaborate with other business areas and marketing departments to escalate as needed for solutions to ensure better user experience for the field force.
Maintain a high-level technical understanding of Farm Bureau system integrations that impact the field force.
Provide leadership and guidance through the end-to-end problem management process by analyzing business unit impacts and priorities and making recommendations for workarounds and long-term solutions.
Drive expansion of incident and problem management processes to provide enhanced stabilization of operating environments.
Use SQL queries to extract data and gain an understanding of how the data relates to what is displayed in the Guidewire system. Apply and use data analytics with ability to communicate results and make appropriate recommendations to Enterprise.
Perform an internal consultancy role that has responsibility for investigating business objectives, workflows, and processes, identifying options for improving business systems, and bridging the needs of the business with the use of improved business processes and information technology.
Drive and challenge business areas on their assumptions and successful execution of their plans. Encourage innovative ideas that are not in current mainstream and reset expectations as needed. Act as an advocate to business units about future state processes and activities
Senior Field System Delivery & Quality Specialist Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree with a major in insurance, business, technology, or related field of study or equivalent experience required.
Must be accurate, detail-oriented, dependable and organized
Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training, education, and self-development required.
Proven negotiation and facilitation skills required.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and systems required.
Experienced computer usage and proven skills in Microsoft Office Professional Suite required.
Preferred
Five years insurance background in related field preferred.
Five or more years of a solid technical background preferred or equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience in insurance domain preferred.
Experience in process improvement preferred.
Experience on a project team preferred.
