Job Description:

Vertiv is seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Technology Innovation Intern to join our dynamic team. This role will be crucial in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies that could revolutionize our data center solutions.



RESPONSIBILITIES


Technology Research and Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive research on cutting-edge technologies relevant to data center operations, focusing on AC Power, DC Power, air cooling, liquid cooling, energy storage, IoT, and advanced materials
• Analyze industry reports, academic publications, and market trends to identify potential innovations applicable to Vertiv's product lines
• Evaluate technologies from diverse sources, including startups, universities, established vendors, and advanced technology providers

Innovation Assessment

• Assess the potential impact of emerging technologies on Vertiv's current and future product offerings
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, highlighting opportunities for integration or development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the feasibility and potential applications of new technologies

QUALIFICATIONS


Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field[6].

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of data center technologies and operations
• Familiarity with power systems, cooling technologies, and energy efficiency concepts
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Ability to synthesize complex technical information and communicate it effectively
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
