Responsible for inventory accuracy that supports successful levels of customer service and order fulfilment rates. Works through the influence of operating peers and direct supervision of inventory control department. Customer interaction is also critical responsibility. Minimizing OSD through providing leadership in the receiving process and understanding of the WMS/WES systems
What You'll Do:
Ensure that all employees are working safely and not endangering themselves or others.
Advise associates on care, preservation, handling, storing, maintenance and shipping of product.
Oversee inventory-related operations and projects.
Assign direct work and monitor performance of shipping and receiving employees.
Schedule tasks to maximize efficiency.
Make recommendations regarding hiring, promotion, discipline and training. Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action.
Monitor system-generated reports to identify errors in procedure and take corrective action.
Maintain systematic disposition of all un-sellable merchandise and ensure all efforts are taken to prevent the shipment of un-sellable merchandise.
Oversee accurate and timely Cycle Counting efforts.
What Experience and Education Do You Need:
Associate degree plus 5+ years inventory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with various WMS/WES systems required
Experience working with automation related software and intermediate excel spreadsheet functionality.

Proven supervisory skills.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
Forklift license, CPR and First Aid training a plus.
Strong communication skills to influence peer group and provide feedback on people and process gaps
Skills and structure to provide consistent reporting internally and externally from the facility.
Physical Requirements:

Requires the use of various electronic tools

Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management
