Responsibilities
The 2025 Summer Internship runs from May 19th - August 11th.
Responsible for assisting certified photogrammetrists and mapping professionals plan, process, calibrate, analyze, adjust, or otherwise convert geospatial data in the form of LiDAR or imagery into aerial mapping products including planimetric and topographic maps
Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products
Classification of LiDAR point clouds
Compilation of mapping features from LiDAR point clouds or stereo imagery
Modeling geospatial data in time and space using ArcGIS
Qualifications
Qualified candidates are undergraduate students or early career professionals enrolled in a program related to GIS, Survey, or related geospatial field
GPA of 2.5 or higher
Knowledge of CAD, LiDAR Classification, and GIS tools
Desire and willingness to learn more about the Surveying industry and its technology
