Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring successful execution from pre-construction through project completion. This individual will manage multiple stakeholders, lead project teams, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.
Develop, manage, and track project budgets, schedules, and resources.
Foster collaboration between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of each project.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality control throughout the project.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to project teams and subcontractors.
Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and change orders.
Manage procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor selection.
Proactively identify and address potential risks, changes in scope, and other project challenges.
Maintain transparent communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
Ensure the effective coordination of all construction activities to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects.
Expertise in construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and regulations.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Procore.
Ability to manage projects efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
