Working Location: Remote but will work PST (may need to plan for 1-2 trips on-site for meetings in Seattle)

Required Core Hours/Time Zone: PST

Pay Range: $70-85/hr W2

Overview:

The IT Division Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing high-impact projects within the healthcare domain, with a focus on Epic implementations, revenue cycle projects, and system integrations. This role requires a seasoned project manager with strong organizational skills, adherence to project management methodologies, and the ability to foster effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in structured governance, stakeholder analysis, and managing iterative projects in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medium to large-scale capital projects, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using Smartsheet, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Drive structured governance processes, stakeholder analysis, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, take detailed notes/minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure progress and accountability.
  • Engage with SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage Epic module implementations, particularly those involving revenue cycle applications, authorizations, and automation integrations.
  • Oversee iterative projects, such as API activations and payer platform integrations, with milestones every 2-3 months.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, executive stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular updates on deliverables and addressing issues promptly.
  • Ensure effective change control processes, testing, and release management for technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all project participants, respecting roles and boundaries while fostering collaboration.
  • Support organizational learning by adapting to the culture and aligning with established project management practices.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing medium to large-scale complex projects, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop structured governance processes, stakeholder analyses, and drive timelines and scope management.
  • Experience leading projects involving iterative integrations, such as API activations and payer platform rollouts.

Preferred:
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management accreditation.
  • Background in healthcare applications, system integrations, or revenue cycle management.
  • Experience in building and managing collaborative, cross-functional relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
