We are seeking a Cost Estimator to join their dynamic team. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial and operational success of all projects. Our client is looking for a diligent professional with a robust background in commercial or industrial cost estimation and a keen eye for detail to help us maintain competitive and accurate project pricing.

Focus:
Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements.
Offer expertise in the estimation of construction-related activities with a focus on demolition and excavation projects.
Assess cost effectiveness and potential environmental impact of projects.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on financial and technical evaluations.
Provide timely and precise cost information on project variances and risk analysis.
Assist in the preparation of bids, budgets, and cost tracking reports.
Skill Set:
Minimum of five years of experience in cost estimation, preferably within the commercial or industrial sectors.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
Advanced understanding of construction, demolition, and excavation processes and technologies.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex documents and financial reports.
Excellent communication to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Working knowledge of industry regulations, including safety and environmental laws.
Direct experience in demolition estimating is highly advantageous.
