Founded in 1937, Galleher Industries ("Galleher" or the "Company") is a manufacturer and value-added distributor of components to commercial truck body and trailer manufacturers, fleet operators, and collision/repair centers. The Company has locations in Pomona, CA, Kaufman, TX, and Belleville, NJ.
Boyne Capital is a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies and support them in achieving their next phase of growth. Boyne partnered with existing management to recapitalize Galleher in late 2021. Galleher has grown by more than 100% since the recapitalization via organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.
Opportunity
Reporting to the Board, the President will serve as a critical leader in developing and executing strategic objectives, including overseeing facility operations, developing and managing key customer and vendor relationships, managing the sales team, integrating future add-on acquisitions, and executing on de novo growth initiatives. Within the first year, this President will have a direct succession plan to the CEO role.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement operations strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Lead, motivate, and support the Sales and Manufacturing teams
Develop annual budget, in collaboration with the CFO, and manage day-to-day operations to annual budget
Establish and monitor KPIs to track operational performance and work with CFO to enhance reporting
Foster relationships with customers; represent the Company at trade shows and industry events
Establish best practices and standard operating procedures; optimize and ensure long-term stability of all facilities
Lead add-on acquisitions integration and/or execute de novo expansion strategy including the buildout of new facilities
Partner with external marketing agency to refine marketing campaigns and strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
Proven track record of success in a CEO/COO/VP of Operations or similar position
Strong financial acumen with prior P&L management in a manufacturing environment
Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams across multiple locations/states
Leadership of de novo expansion and/or acquisition integration efforts
Experience directing and overseeing organic sales growth
Willing/able to be on site in Kaufman, TX, and ability to travel to the other facilities
Private Equity - sponsor experience is highly valued
