Job Overview:

As a key project coordinator, you will serve as the main point of contact between the client, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and operations. Your role will involve providing technical leadership in control systems and electrical engineering, ensuring designs meet project specifications and safety standards. You will monitor project progress, ensuring it stays within scope, budget, and timeline, and proactively address any issues. Additionally, you will manage RFIs and deviations, support commissioning efforts, and ensure safety compliance.

This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the success of large-scale refinery projects by ensuring effective technical coordination and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the central point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment across multiple disciplines.
  • Provide expert guidance in control systems and electrical engineering to ensure project designs meet all requirements and safety standards.
  • Oversee project timelines and budgets, addressing challenges as they arise to keep the project on track.
  • Supervise the coordination of RFIs and manage deviations from engineering standards, securing necessary approvals.
  • Assist with the commissioning process by offering technical expertise and resolving issues related to control systems and electrical components.
  • Participate in safety audits and enforce adherence to safety protocols throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Review and validate engineering documents to ensure accurate execution in line with as-built conditions.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience: 15-17 years of experience in project coordination with a focus on control systems and electrical engineering.
  • Skills: Strong cross-discipline coordination abilities, in-depth knowledge of control systems (DCS, PLC), and electrical systems.

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
