Insight Global is seeking a Teamcenter Systems Administrator to join one of their top federal clients on a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will be joining the Information Services team and will be supporting the Mission of Strategic Deterrence through continuous improvements and innovation. Some of your responsibilities would include:

  • Supporting within the Operations team, and collaborating daily with the Development team to deliver highly performant Teamcenter system to users
  • Provide technical expertise and be responsible for the architecture, upgrades, optimizations, planning, and overall administration for PLM applications. Specifically within Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture and Teamcenter Active Workspace Client in a fast paced environment
  • Serve as the SME and main point of contact for all related infrastructure and operations needs of Teamcenter
  • Provide continuous and consistent support for all environments, including Development, Test, Integration, and Production, across all layers, modules, integrations, connections, and interfaces.
  • Carry out the installation, configuration, hardening, and testing of new or updated system changes.
  • Apply and verify software patches and security updates.
  • Concentrate on creating, executing, and enhancing documentation for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Help perform root cause analysis and resolve system and application faults and errors.
  • Ensure assigned operating systems and applications are compliant with all applicable Department of Defense (DoD) directives and guidelines, including Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) bulletins.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience of related IT or technical experience
  • Bachelors Degree in a STEM field Active Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level II Certification
  • CompTIA Sec+, CCNA, CySA+, or other applicable
  • Proficient with Teamcenter SOA Gateway
  • Skilled in Agile Software Development, utilizing Jira for issue tracking and resolution
  • Experienced in Software Configuration Management, using GitHub for code repositories
  • Capable of articulating solution concepts clearly through strong communication and presentation skills, facilitating IT team collaboration
  • Experienced in advising and consulting with management or equivalent roles within and outside the organization
  • Effective in communicating with internal and external resources to successfully complete assignments or projects
  • Adept at proactively managing and prioritizing multiple related projects, assignments, timelines, milestones, and follow-up communications
  • Experienced in collaborating with vendors on the research, development, and implementation of server technologies
  • Diligent in documenting activities, status, and issues
  • Experienced in contributing to and following Configuration Management processes
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DHCP, and DNS
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell - Basic understanding of antivirus software, vulnerability scanning tools, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
