Overview
Job Description: Our client is looking for a Core Application Support Specialist to help manage and support their healthcare applications, mainly focusing on PACS platforms with occasional support for cardio/hemo platforms. Your tasks will include troubleshooting software issues, finding workarounds, and opening service tickets when needed. You will escalate issues to the right teams, assist with system upgrades, and perform database backups. You'll also monitor image routing and archiving, handle errors, and assist sites with image setup and forwarding. Occasionally, you'll run diagnostic and productivity reports to ensure everything runs smoothly. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
PACS Administration experience
5-10 years of experience using PACS
Ability to troubleshoot radiology platforms
Provide documentation
Ability to perform database backups
have some ability to administer troubleshooting and documentation of cardio/hemo platforms, or be able to be trained up to do so
