Jacob & Martin, LLC is seeking a Resident Project Representative (RPR). We are looking for a talented & motivated professional who wants to be part of a growing, dynamic team that is focused on making a positive impact on projects in the public and private sector.
Required Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Ability to manage several projects at one time
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interact/communicate well with management
Experience in record-keeping for construction projects
Experience reviewing payment requisitions, wage rates, and operations manuals
Experience conducting construction inspections and reporting findings
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintains daily diaries and reports information via Fieldwire
Reviews payment requisitions, wage rates, and operations manuals
Reviews and interprets Specifications and Plans
Conducts construction inspections to ensure quality standards are met on all projects
Prepares and submits clear documentation and photo evidence of findings via Fieldwire
Communicates with project manager, engineering technicians, owner, contractor's representatives and others as applicable regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results
Proficiencies: Fieldwire, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; and lifting of moderately heavy items. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
Work Environment:
While performing this job, the employee regularly works both indoor and outdoor and is required to work in all types of weather conditions. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts or machines, or irritant chemicals; etc. . . Employees will be required to use protective clothing or gear such as hard hats, masks, boots, gloves under appropriate circumstances.
