The Position
Waibel Masonry, a dynamic and rapidly growing Commercial Masonry builder in Arizona, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring project success through meticulous planning, estimating, and management.
Key Responsibilities -
Software Proficiency:
TRADESMAN Software: Serve as the primary tool for project estimation, tracking, and management.
Project Management:
Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Manage schedules, resources, and budgets while maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
Quantity Takeoffs & Estimating:
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete footings and other structural components.
Generate precise cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
Revisions & Change Orders:
Update project estimates and budgets based on revisions or new requirements.
Technical Support & Data Management:
Provide technical guidance to project teams and utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Billing & Contract Management:
Prepare accurate billing documents, including SOVs, and review contracts to ensure compliance.
Plan Reading & Material Procurement:
Interpret construction plans and ensure timely ordering of materials and submittals.
Business Development:
Identify growth opportunities and build relationships with potential clients.
Qualifications:
Expertise in construction principles, plan reading, and bid item quantification.
Proficiency in TRADESMAN Software; knowledge of AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a plus.
Advanced skills in Excel and data management.
Demonstrated experience in project management, estimating, and contract review.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary (DOE) $80,000 - $120,000
