About You

As a Management Support Specialist, you bring experience in supporting executive and management-level leadership in executing strategic plans. You help define the structure of new initiatives, set measurable goals, and hold leadership and staff accountable for achieving those goals. You are highly organized, thrive in a supportive role, and are a self-starter who identifies opportunities for improvement and efficiency. You take initiative in addressing these opportunities and are eager to learn more about the development industry. You work effectively in collaborative team environments and are committed to supporting others' success.

Job Overview

As a Management Support Specialist at LSI, you will work closely with the firm's executives and studio directors. You will support the firm president with all communications and scheduling tasks. You will play a key role in the management team, taking ownership of strategic initiatives in marketing, client relationship management, and business development, ensuring that firm leadership is held accountable for their responsibilities and deliverables. You will continuously seek efficient ways to achieve goals and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining systems to track progress. Additionally, you will collaborate with the design team in digital marketing, manage social media posts, and update the website. Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to building meaningful relationships with clients, peers, and colleagues are essential. You must be honest, dependable, and trustworthy, with the ability to manage confidential information securely and ethically.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management team with structure, deliverables, and accountability to strategic initiatives
  • Manage the firm president's emails and calendar
  • Take accurate and comprehensive meeting notes for distribution
  • Oversee marketing strategies, ensuring design staff meet deliverables
  • Manage social media posts and website updates
  • Manage the client relationship management platform (firm contacts and communications)
  • Schedule firm social events
  • Track employee milestones and birthdays
  • Maintain and stock the company break room
  • Assist the firm president with occasional errands

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a management support role
  • Comfort in communicating with executive-level staff and holding management accountable for roles and responsibilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Google Suite (Gsuite)
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Ability to manage confidential information ethically
  • Strong scheduling management skills
  • Preferred: Experience in graphic design and/or social media management
