Collaborates with community and business leaders, as well as mental health experts, to develop programs that strengthen mental wellness awareness and improve access to services.
Builds consensus and fosters regional collaboration to advance objectives.
Facilitates committee meetings and serves as a consultant to guide solution development and implementation.
Supports strategic and annual planning, goal setting, and budget development.
Conducts research on best practices and solutions, distills trends, and provides analysis to inform decision-making.
Partners with the CEO to create organizational and work group dashboards for tracking outcomes.
Leads strategic recruitment and relationship development with local leaders. Develops and monitors implementation plans for work groups to ensure goals are met.
Identifies and engages consultants as needed to support committee work.
Establishes and refines organizational and business processes as the Coalition grows.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 8-10 years in non-profit management, supporting boards, committees, and volunteer groups collaboratively.
Collective Impact Expertise: Proven experience in a "backbone" role establishing collective impact initiatives.
Independent Work Ethic: Self-motivated, driven, and able to work effectively under pressure with a high degree of integrity.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Research & Analysis: Curiosity-driven, skilled in identifying trends, best practices, and benchmarks to inform current projects.
Communication: Effective listener and presenter, comfortable engaging with diverse audiences.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management, organizational abilities, and commitment to follow-through.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with experience in outcome measurement and organizational dashboard development.
Behavioral Health Experience: Familiarity with the behavioral health ecosystem, including volunteer work, community partnerships, or direct program management.
Education
Bachelor's Degree: Required.
Graduate Degree: Preferred in relevant fields such as MBA or MPP.
Certification: Project Management certification or equivalent experience is beneficial.
