DI is looking for an individual to join our retail operations, where the primary responsibility is to analyze and optimize a store's sales efficiency by tracking the revenue generated per square foot of selling space.
This position requiring tasks like merchandise placement, inventory management, and sales floor layout adjustments to maximize sales productivity within the available retail area.
Key Responsibilities:
Showcase Management:
Monitor and analyze the performance of each jewelry showcase across all store locations.
Ensure each showcase is effectively organized and visually appealing to maximize customer engagement and sales.
Collaborate with the store management team to rearrange and refresh displays as necessary to maintain visual appeal and optimize sales.
Productivity & Profitability:
Track sales per square foot in each store and identify areas for improvement.
Implement strategies to increase product turnover and profitability within each showcase.
Utilize sales data and customer insights to guide decisions on product placement and inventory management within displays.
Sales Analysis & Reporting:
Regularly analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, conversion rates, and product profitability to assess the effectiveness of showcase setups.
Prepare detailed reports on showcase performance, presenting recommendations for improvements to management.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure optimal stock levels in each store and that the correct items are showcased based on customer preferences and sales trends.
Assist in managing the rotation of stock to maintain product freshness and reduce overstock.
Training & Support:
Provide training to store associates on how to effectively present jewelry and optimize sales through showcase displays.
Offer ongoing guidance on visual merchandising techniques and product knowledge.
Customer Experience:
Ensure that each store delivers a consistent, high-end customer experience, with jewelry showcases that align with the brand's standards.
Work closely with the store management team to address any customer feedback or issues related to product displays.
Collaboration with Marketing and Operations:
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that store promotions and seasonal campaigns are properly reflected in product displays.
Work alongside the operations team to maintain consistent store layouts and design across all locations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, preferably in jewelry or high-end retail, with a focus on sales management, visual merchandising, or store operations.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with a focus on productivity metrics and sales performance.
Experience with sales analysis tools and reporting software.
Excellent understanding of visual merchandising and showcase optimization.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and train store staff.
