Position Overview:
The EHS Manager will lead environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe workplace. This role requires a hands-on leader to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to meet OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections; drive corrective actions.
Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement preventive measures.
Track and report EHS metrics and recommend improvements.
Train employees on safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Oversee environmental programs, including waste management, air emissions, and chemical handling.
Maintain EHS documentation and coordinate audits or inspections.
Lead emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience implementing safety and environmental programs.
Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
